Victor works at the intersection of the digital and analog and is particularly interested in how internet culture actively shapes identity, community, and creativity. With a keen interest in the duality of online spaces being environments of near limitless freedom and profit-driven homogenizing hellscapes, Victor presents an immersive installation of the internet in the physical. Visitors are tracked and their appearance altered on screens; physical versions of Victor’s digitalized body populate the gallery in the form of masks, 3D printed action figures, and furniture; and security personnel monitor and surveil the space for any “individuals”.
